Day 1: Marrakech → Ait Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate → Dades Valley
Your 3 Days Marrakech to Merzouga Tour begins with pickup from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. We drive through the High Atlas Mountains and cross the famous Tizi n’Tichka pass, with scenic stops for photos along the way.
The first major visit is Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage kasbah and one of the most famous places to visit in Morocco. After exploring the old fortified village, we continue toward Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the Sahara Desert.
In the afternoon, we drive through the Valley of Roses and continue to Dades Valley, where you will spend the night in a hotel or riad with dinner and breakfast included.
Day 2: Dades Valley → Todra Gorges → Erfoud → Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, we travel through beautiful desert landscapes toward Todra Gorges, one of the most impressive natural sites in southern Morocco. You will have time to walk between the high canyon walls and enjoy the peaceful scenery.
We continue through Erfoud and Rissani before arriving in Merzouga, where the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi welcome you. In the late afternoon, you will ride camels across the dunes and enjoy the sunset in the Sahara Desert.
After the camel trek, you arrive at your luxury desert camp for dinner, Berber music around the campfire and an unforgettable night under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga → Draa Valley → Ouarzazate → Marrakech
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the Sahara dunes, then have breakfast at the desert camp. Afterward, we begin the return journey to Marrakech.
The route takes you through desert villages, palm groves and the beautiful Draa Valley, one of the longest valleys in Morocco. We continue through Ouarzazate and cross the High Atlas Mountains again before arriving in Marrakech in the evening.
